Congratulations Venus!!!American Venus Williams graduated Thursday from the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale, with an associate degree in fashion design. She received honors for the Best Sportswear Collection during the ceremonies.Williams said she was thrilled to have graduated in South Florida, the place she calls home.
Williams had a cheering section at the 5 p.m. ceremony that included her father, Richard, her sister, Serena, and other family and friends.When asked if she would ever quit tennis for a full-time career in fashion -- she currently has her own clothing line -- Venus told Local 10, "I love tennis. I would miss being outdoors."
