Monday's typically suck for me. I don't make plans, I don't schedule any appointments and basically don't leave the house because I know that something weird awaits me outside.

That said, I received not one, but TWO "I love Your Blog" Awards, thus turning my Monday into Tuesday (which is always nice).

George Geder at George Geder Genealogy-Photography-Restoration and Villager at Electronic Village are the very generous gentlemen who have bestowed these honors upon me.

If you have not taken the time to visit either of these sites, you're really missing something. George "Guided by the Ancestors" Geder has such a unique site. Through the sharing of his own ancestry, he shows you how he can assist you with your genealogy, photography and restoration needs which he provides. It is really interesting, check it out.

And Villager, what can I say. Villager has created one of those staple sites where you know you can get a broad perspective on matters in and outside of the community. Villager does such a wonderful job of sharing inside of his posts that you immediately feel as though you are a Village member. After one visit I know you'll agree with me.

The Beautiful Spirit Of Awards, I Love It!

Over the past few days I have been presented with several awards. These fellow bloggers have treated me to the beginning of a very wonderful week and I am grateful to each one.

Fitness Diva at Confessions Of A Fitness Diva presented me with the Brillante Weblog Award;

The Happy Go Lucky Bachelor Mike presented me with the Blogging Star Award;

This beautiful and very spirited award, "The Emblem of the Helping Hand," was created and bestowed upon me by SjP Of Sojourner's Place. Thank you SjP! In creating the award SjP says:

"I wanted to do something special to say Much Obliged and to celebrate reaching this personal milestone. Because I have committed my life to "leaving the pile higher than I found it," I wanted to "pay that help and support forward" to those new to the blogsphere. As such, I have created this "emblem of the Helping Hand" as a token of my appreciation for my blog mentors and a source of encouragement for those who are up and coming."

Much to my surprise, this is my second awarding of the Arte y Pico Award. This honor comes from Ada at Scramories. Thank you Ada! She had this to say about the award:

"In keeping with the spirit of Arte y Pico, there are more than 5 blogs that I find inspiring, creative and contribute positively to the blogsphere, and would like to share this award with these inspiring blogs."

The rules for the "Emblem Of The Helping Hand Award" are as follows:

Arte y Pico Award: Thank You Matt!

It's always a better day for me when a friend takes the time to share with me their good feelings about this site. The unselfishness of a lot of people in this great blogsphere is just wonderful. In this instance it is Matt from a favorite place of mine, "Meltwater. Torrent. Meanderings. Delta." (MTMD) This site represents so much of what I love about cyberspace. In the regular course of life I probably would not have met Matt. And since he spends a lot of time on the river, I KNOW that we would not have run into one another in the midst of our hobbies (I like dry ground). But because we enjoy and are open to the perspectives, outlook and life meanderings of others, here in cyberspace is where we got the opportunity to meet, share and visit. What a world!

All of that said, Matt was recently awarded the "Arte y Pico" Award and opted to share it with me, along with others. Thank you so much Matt, I truly appreciate this and consider it an honor.

It's What You Do With Love, Share It

SjP at Sojourner's Place has started my weekend in the most thoughtful way, she has given me the "Sharing The Love" award.

Thank you so much SjP, the spirit and meaning behind this award are truly beautiful.

The "Sharing The Love "Award, was created by Blogger Crystal at "Memoirs Of A Mommy" blog, in honor of donor who saved her one month old's life a year ago. Crystal's son Noah celebrated his first birthday this week thanks to someone you final gift was the gift of life.

A Beautiful Rose From A Beautiful Sojourner

I am truly touched. In my usual night owl surfing, I visited SjP at Sojourner's Place, and to my surprise she had passed on The Red Rose Award that she received from Ms. Marvalus at Opinionated Black Woman.

Thank you very much for thinking of me SjP. This single red rose serves its purpose in lifting my spirit.

"Spread The Love Award"

I am so pleased today. One of my favorite bloggers, Vanessa at Vanessa: Unplugged! passed along a little love to me. I, along with Invisible Woman, MarvalusOne, Karoli, Paula Neal Mooney and Linda, are receiving the "Spread The Love Award."

Vanessa said, "All of these ladies are shining examples of bloggers who uplift and inform. I am pleased to have them as blogging sisters and wish them many more blog posts to come."

I feel the love in that statement, I thank her for such a generous compliment, and in the same spirit I pass this award on to some bloggers who I feel the very same way about.
