Note: Scoville Jenkins entered through the qualifying rounds. He defeated the following players:
Round 1: Oliver Patience, France 6-3, 5-7, 5-7
Round 2: Harel Levy, Israel, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3
Round 3: Aisam-UL-Haq Qureshi, Pakistan 6-7, 6-2, retired

Jamea Jackson Still On Come Back Trail After Hip Surgery

Post hip surgery Jamea Jackson lost yet another match, this time at the East West Bank Classic in Los Angeles (Carson), CA. Jamea was defeated in the first round by Ashley Harkelroad by a score of 6-4, 6-1. Prior to her hip surgery Jamea was one of the up and coming players on the WTA Tour. Here's hoping that hip is mended soon, I was becoming duly impressed and looking forward to seeing more of this young lady.
